Complaint Description: Planning - Planning- you condemned this house and cleaned up the front yard but nothing has been done since. This house is bringing unwanted traffic to our street. APD- there are druggies living in this house. The window on the east side of the house has been broken and opened where they are going and coming. We need this addressed from both parties. Jan 1, 1900 A FOLLOW UP INSPECTION WAS PERFORMED ON APRIL 11, 2016. THE PROPERTY OWNER WAS ON SITE AT THE TIME OF THIS INSPECTION AND INDICATED HE WAS PERFORMING ROOF WORK AND INTENDED ON REMOVING THE HEAVY ACCUMULATION OF OUTDOOR STORAGE SEEN PILED THROUGHOUT THE PREMISES. OUR OFFICE DID OBSERVE SOME PROGRESS TO THE PROPERTY BUT THE PROPERTY IS NOW IN IT'S ORIGINAL STATE CREATING A SAFETY HAZARD AS WELL AS A CONCERN OF INSECTS AND RODENTS. THIS PROPERTY IS ALSO A COMPLETE EYESORE TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND AN ATTRACTIVE NUISANCE. ALL OUTDOOR STORAGE SHALL BE REMOVED FROM THE ENTIRE PREMISES. THE OWNER WAS ENCOURAGED TO USE HIS TRAILER TO REMOVE THE ARTICLES AND ALSO CONTACT 311 FOR LARGE TRASH ITEM PICK UPS.
Jan 1, 1900 DURING THE INITIAL INSPECTION, INTERIOR WATER DAMAGE COULD BE SEEN FROM A WINDOW OF A ROOM LOCATED ON THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE HOME INDICATING ROOF WORK MAY BE REQUIRED. ALL INTERIOR WATER DAMAGE SHALL BE REPAIRED IN A WORKMANLIKE MANNER.
Jan 1, 1900 THE GAS SERVICE SHALL BE RESTORED NO LATER THAN MONDAY, APRIL 25, 2016 BY THE NM GAS COMPANY OR THIS DWELLING WILL BE VACATED AND POSTED SUBSTANDARD. IF ANY GAS APPLIANCES ARE RED TAGGED BY THE GAS COMPANY, A LICENSED PLUBMER SHALL MAKE ALL NECESSARY REPAIRS OR REPLACEMENTS PRIOR TO APRIL 25, 2016 FOR SAFETY PURPOSES. ALL REQUIRED PERMITS SHALL BE OBTAINED PRIOR TO WORK STARTING. WHEN INSPECTORS ARRIVED ON APRIL 11, 2016, THE FRONT EXTERIOR DOOR WAS PARTIALLY BLOCKED BY OUTDOOR STORAGE. THE FRONT DOOR WAS OPEN AND A NARROW PATH COULD BE SEEN INTO THE HOME. THIS NARROW PATH MAKES IT DIFFICULT FOR ANYONE TO NAVIGATE THEIR WAY THROUGH THE HOME. OUTDOOR STORAGE WAS SEEN STACKED IN THE NORTHEAST CORNER ROOM FROM THE BACK YARD. THE BACK AND FRONT YARDS ARE SO PACKED WITH CONTENTS THAT IF AN EMERGENCY ENTRY OR EXIT IS REQUIRED, EMERGENCY CREWS OR THE OCCUPANT COULD NOT SAFELY ENTER OR EXIT. ACCESS SHALL BE MADE NO LATER THAN MONDAY, APRIL 25, 2016 FOR SAFETY PURPOSES.
